Conditionals - Introduction

There are five main conditional forms. These are:

The Zero Conditional

The First Conditional

The Second Conditional

The Third Conditional

Mixed Conditionals

Conditional sentences are formed of two parts:

An ‘If Clause’ and a ‘result clause’

If clause, Result clause
If it rains, I’ll stay at home

The structure can be reversed. In this case, do not use a comma.
