‘Learnlight’ attaches great importance to protecting your personal data. We always inform you about personal data that we collect during your visit to our websites, how it is used and how you can influence the process. This data privacy information provides answers to the most important questions.

Technical features: When you visit our websites, the web server temporarily records the domain name or IP address of your computer, the client’s file request (file name and URL), the http response code and the website from which you are visiting us. The protocol data will be used only for the purpose of data security, especially for the defense of attack attempts to our web server and for statistical analysis. They will neither be used to build individual user profiles, nor will they be transferred to third parties and will be deleted at the latest after 7 days.

Other: In order to register you as a user and to contact you for any kind of language training we depend on a Username, First Name, Last Name, E-Mail and Phone number (and a unique ID in certain cases). This data is stored for the complete period of the contract with Learnlight. However, if any user has been absent for more than one year, any user specific data will be completely anonymized.

Other personal details will not be collected unless you provide this information voluntarily.

Data may be processed in Spain, France, the UK and other countries where employees and trainers are based around the world. In all cases, Learnlight applies the necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure that your data is protected in the case of any possible international transfers.

Learnlight data is hosted by the following high-security data centers: - OVH France S.A.S., 2 Rue Kellerman, 59100, Roubaix, France - Amazon Web Services Germany GmbH, Domagkstraße 28, 80807, München, Germany Please note that no data is processed by these external service providers - they only provide hosting services.

We have taken extensive technical and operational security precautions to protect your data against unauthorized access and misuse.

In certain cases, we are legally obliged to pass on data if requested to do so by a state body.

The only other third parties who may have access to your data (depending on what services we provide for you) are: - TOK BOX (used for online training provided via WebChat functionality): Name, surname and IP - MAILCHIMP (used to send Magazine newsletters only if your company has selected this option): Name, email, subscription list, user ID

We do not pass on your data to third parties for any other purpose, unless you have given express permission for us to do so.

We, or companies commissioned by us, create usage profiles under pseudonyms to the extent permitted by law. These can be evaluated for billing and anonymized learning analysis reasons.

You may request, free of charge, information on the scope, origin and recipients of the stored data as well as the purpose of storage.
