There are a number of different types of adverb.

The five main types of adverb are shown in the table below.

Type	Example
Frequency	Always, sometimes, usually, never
Time	Yesterday, next week, tomorrow
Place	There, here, still, yet
Manner	Slowly, quickly
Degree	Almost, nearly, quite
