Quantifiers answer the question how much? or how many?
We use any in questions and negative sentences.
For example: Do you have any coffee? I don’t have any coffee.
We use some in positive sentences.
For example: I have some coffee.
We can also use some in questions when we expect the answer to be yes.
For example: Do you want some coffee?
We can also form negative sentences with: no.
For example: I don’t have any coffee.
For example: I have no coffee.
